Business Industry Education Events
Each year the Business–Industry–Education committee organizes an event to honor and welcome new educators to our community.
This fall event is organized by the Business Industry– Education committee, where local businesses can enter their best chili to help raise money for scholarships. This is a free community event.
Student Discount Card
The student discount cards are issued to students in grades 6-12 on the honor roll at Adams Central, Hastings High, Hastings Middle School, Kenesaw Schools, St. Cecilia, Zion Lutheran Schools, and Silver Lake. Each qualifying student is given a card listing the names of participating businesses and the special discount or item that they are offering. These cards are given to the students in January and will be good through December.
